Saul and Claribel Simkin Centre

The “Lighting Up Residents’ Lives” initiative at the Saul and Claribel Simkin Centre uses adaptive lighting to create a blissful and dynamic environment in the atrium of the facility. Using energy-efficient LED lights with adjustable colors and patterns, this project promotes year-round visual stimulation, enhances therapeutic activities, and promotes a sense of community and celebration among residents, staff and guests. With support from the Miroir Foundation, this initiative encourages joyful connections and reinforces the Simkin Centre’s commitment to resident-centered care.
