Glider Swing Joy

Carleton Lodge is delighted to share the success of their new wheelchair-accessible glider swing, made possible by a grant from the Miroir Foundation. Since its installation, the swing has become a beloved gathering spot for residents, families, and grandchildren, who enjoy leading the gliding and connecting more closely with their grandparents. It has also created a meaningful space for older adult couples to relax together in comfort. The swing is now part of group programming as well, enriching daily life with fresh air, companionship, and intergenerational joy.
