Burning Passions Theater
“Seniors Sharing Stories” is an annual community theater project hosted by the Burning Passions Theater. By placing seniors’ voices at the center of the stage through a collaborative and creative process, older adults are given an opportunity to build connection, express joy and challenge stereotypes. This theater projects shows that seniors are vibrant contributors to their communities.
“Thanks to the Miroir Foundation, generous individual donors and our community partnership with the Rideau Rockcliffe Community Resource Centre, we were able to complete the project with our goals intact”
— Laurel Smith, Associate Producer
